About Me

I am a Senior Research Engineer at Samsung Research America, where I work in the Standards and Mobility Innovation (SMI) Lab. I graduated with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, where I was affiliated with the Wireless@VT Research Group advised by Dr. Jeffrey H. Reed and Dr. Vuk Marojevic. I have a strong experience in undertaking research on fundamental as well as practical aspects of wireless communications. I have made several research contributions in the areas of 4G/5G PHY layer security, flexible cellular PHY layer protocol design, spectrum sharing, and localization. I currently serve as an Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology.
